A Real Pumpkin Patch

One of the things we started realizing this year in the pacific northwest is that people actually do some work to get their holiday decorations. It's amazing. In Florida, you drive up to a church yard or the grocery store, stand and look at your options all laid out in rows, pick one up, and pay. Here, you get one your wellies and coats, go hiking through fields of spiny vies, and get your hands dirty. I love it!
Though we're quite past Halloween now, these pumpkins are still going strong on our front porch.

Our Halloween/Pumpkin Patch photos over the years may be my favorite.
2010: Tova's second Halloween + Tova's first time Trick-or-Treating
2011: A trip back to same pumpkin patch + Trick-or-Treating with her best friend, Nolan
Such cute memories.
